The Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening local tourism as Chief Operating Officer Mark Lapid joined Benjie Magalong in inspecting the ongoing rehabilitation of Burnham Park.

The site visit underscored TIEZA’s support for the restoration and enhancement of one of the country’s most iconic urban parks, a key destination for both local and international tourists.
TIEZA said the rehabilitation effort goes beyond infrastructure improvement, describing it as a strategic investment in building a more sustainable, attractive, and competitive Philippine tourism industry.
The agency continues to align its projects with its broader mandate of upgrading tourism facilities nationwide while preserving the cultural and environmental value of key destinations.
