TOP EXECUTIVES BACK JCI WORLD CONGRESS 2026 IN CLARK

Leading figures in Philippine business and former JCI leaders have pledged their full support for the Junior Chamber International (JCI) World Congress 2026, which will be hosted in Clark, Pampanga. The event is poised to bring together over 6,000 young leaders from more than 120 countries on November 11–15, 2026.

The announcement has generated strong enthusiasm from local JCI chapters and industry leaders, who see it as a unique opportunity to promote youth leadership, business innovation, and international collaboration on a global stage.

In a special gathering held at the residence of CATS Motors Founder and Auto Nation Group President Felix Ang, former and current JCI members, dignitaries, and business leaders reaffirmed their commitment to the upcoming congress. Among those present were Senator JV Ejercito; 2025 JCI Advisor Boydee Dizon III; 1997 JCI World President Crispin Dy Jr.; CDC Chairman Ed Pamintuan; and former CDC President Benny Ricafort.

2025 JCI Manila President Jan Adrian “AP” D. Padiernos recalled the impact of the last JCI World Congress held in the Philippines in 1998. “It inspired many to join and take leadership roles. We hope 2026 will do the same—encouraging young leaders to step out, take action, and lead positive change.”

The World Congress is expected to be a catalyst for leadership development, cultural exchange, and international networking. 2025 JCI Senate Manila President Randy Manaloto emphasized, “This is a chance to foster cross-cultural understanding and build global partnerships, all while advancing JCI’s mission.”

For Dr. Cecilio K. Pedro, President of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and former JCI Manila President, the congress reaffirms the value of visionary leadership: “It’s been 28 years since we last hosted. This is more than an event—it’s about showing what strong, united leadership can do for our nation.”

Clark was chosen for its status as the country’s leading MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) destination, offering world-class infrastructure, accessibility, and amenities to support a large-scale international conference.

Leading the preparations is 2026 JCI World Conference Director Luis Angelo Sevilla, who aims to deliver a globally benchmarked event. “We want to inspire—not just organize. The World Congress will be an experience that moves young leaders to think bigger and act bolder.”

Deputy Director Kate Reyes-Romero of JCI Angeles City Culiat added, “This isn’t just about hosting—it’s a declaration of our commitment to community and country.”

The 2026 JCI World Congress is shaping up to be a landmark event for Pampanga and the Philippines, offering a platform for young leaders to collaborate, innovate, and leave a lasting impact on their communities and the world.
