The Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) Philippines, the marketing and promotions arm of the Department of Tourism (DOT), announced that the 16th Regional Travel Fair (RTF) will take place from November 14 to 16, 2025, in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
This year’s RTF gathers key tourism stakeholders to highlight diverse destinations and introduce new tourism offerings across the MIMAROPA Region—promoted as “Your Destination of Choice.”
“The 16th Regional Travel Fair gives travelers easier access to experiences that are proudly local, deeply cultural, and uniquely Filipino,” said TPB Chief Operating Officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles. “It is fitting to culminate this year’s RTF here in Palawan, one of the Philippines’ most celebrated destinations. From its lush rainforests to its white sand beaches, MIMAROPA exemplifies the natural beauty and character that define the Philippines as a world-class destination.”
The three-day event opens with a Business-to-Business (B2B) session on November 14 at Princesa Garden Island Resort and Spa. At least 52 buyers and 53 sellers from across MIMAROPA—including Puerto Princesa City and the provinces of Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon—will participate to explore business prospects and strengthen industry partnerships.
The Business-to-Consumer (B2C) fair follows on November 15 and 16 at Robinsons Palawan. Open to the public for free, the fair will offer exclusive deals on domestic tour packages, airline tickets, and accommodations. Visitors can also enjoy tourism showcases and interactive segments prepared by DOT regional offices, LGUs, and industry partners.
To further promote sustainable and community-based tourism, TPB will conduct familiarization tours around Puerto Princesa and nearby towns. Highlights include visits to Iwahig Penal Farm, Mitra Ranch, Binuatan Creations and Delma Pearl, and Baker’s Hill—giving tour operators and stakeholders a firsthand look at the region’s eco-tourism and cultural attractions.
The 16th RTF is organized in partnership with the Provincial Government of Palawan, City Government of Puerto Princesa, Provincial Tourism Council, Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and 2GO.
Through initiatives like the Regional Travel Fair, TPB continues to champion domestic tourism and invites travelers and industry partners to experience why MIMAROPA stands out as the Philippines’ Destination of Choice.
