Tanduay welcomes returning OFWs with homecoming gifts at Cebu Airport

Tanduay extended a warm welcome to returning Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) by giving homecoming gifts at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport on December 29, recognizing their sacrifices and celebrating their return to their families for the holidays.

Arriving OFWs at Terminal 2 were greeted by Tanduay representatives, who distributed Tanduay Select 700 mL bottles along with complimentary rocks glasses as a gesture of appreciation for the country’s modern-day heroes.

Tanduay International Business Development Manager Roy Kristoffer Sumang said the initiative reflects the brand’s recognition of the dedication and hard work of Filipino workers abroad.

“At Tanduay, we recognize the sacrifices of our OFWs. We hope this gift reminds them of the warmth of home as they celebrate the holidays with their families,” Sumang said.

Tanduay Select, one of the brand’s most popular products, highlights Tanduay’s Filipino heritage and craftsmanship. Made from a distinctive blend of cane spirits derived from selected sugarcane, the product has an alcohol content of 30 percent ABV.

Several returning OFWs expressed gratitude for the surprise. Jerika Lorraine Demillo, who arrived from Japan, shared her appreciation for the gesture, while Ludovico Amodal, returning from Qatar, said the gift would make their New Year celebration more joyful.

Another recipient, Hazel Tusoy, who had been working in Hong Kong for two years, said the gesture made her return even more meaningful as she prepared to reunite with her family.

Sumang added that Tanduay continues to honor hardworking Filipinos around the world, especially during the holiday season, reaffirming the brand’s values of family, dedication, and Filipino pride.
