Malupa Elementary School in Concepcion, Tarlac, has received a significant boost with the completion of a new two-story, six-classroom facility, thanks to the efforts of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
Edward Ricardo Ramos, DPWH Tarlac 2nd District Engineer, shared that the 638.37-square meter building is equipped with amenities such as comfort rooms, toilets for persons with disabilities, a fire protection system, a water tank, and a wheelchair ramp, ensuring accessibility, safety, and comfort for all users.
Ramos emphasized that the new structure aligns with the department’s goal to create safe, modern, and well-equipped learning spaces to accommodate the growing student population. “We are committed to improving teaching quality, addressing space shortages, and fostering community development,” he said.
Teacher Sunshine Mari of Malupa Elementary School expressed appreciation for the new facility, explaining that the spacious and less crowded environment has positively impacted classroom activities, enhancing the overall learning experience for the students.
