Do you still remember the child with whom Mayor Cris Garbo was photographed hugging in 2022?

Her name is Ricarla Reyes, a 12-year old Mabalaquenian from barangay Dau. She was, back then, diagnosed with Lymphoma.

Ricarla Reyes was invited to speak at the flag raising ceremony held this morning, July 1. She was happy to convey to her friends and those present that, after three years of treatment, has shown marked improvement.

Ricarla’s treatment has been made possible with the help of Mayor Cris Garbo and the Mabalacat City Government.

Prayers are encouraged for Ricarla, who hopes that in her next PET scan, she will be declared cancer-free.
