The joint operation of the Mabalacat City Police Station and the 302nd Mobile Company Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 Polar Base, alongside the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company Mabalacat Patrol Base, successfully executed a warrant of arrest leading to the apprehension of a wanted person with an alias of Joy.
The arrest took place at Apple Avenue, Barangay San Francisco, Mabalacat City, Pampanga.
The suspect was wanted in connection with a serious crime of Violation of Qualified Trafficking in Person, as specified in criminal case no. 15127. The arrest was made pursuant to a warrant issued by RTC Branch 60 in the City of San Fernando, La Union, dated June 18, 2024, with no bail recommended.
The apprehended suspect is currently in the custody of the Mabalacat City Police Station for processing and legal proceedings.
Mabalacat CPS Chief of Police, PLtCol. Efren N. David, Jr., emphasized the commitment of the Mabalacat Police to uphold justice and ensure the apprehension of individuals evading the law. “We will persist in our efforts to locate and apprehend all individuals wanted by the law,” stated PLtCol. David.
In response to the successful apprehension of the second most wanted person, Mayor Crisostomo Garbo commended the swift and effective action taken by the Mabalacat City Police and allied law enforcement agencies.
“The safety and security of our city are paramount, and this arrest demonstrates our commitment to uphold the rule of law. I applaud the dedication and bravery of our law enforcement personnel in ensuring that justice is served,” Mayor Cris Garbo affirmed.
