Overseas Filipinos can now enjoy easier and more secure ways to stay connected with their families through BDO Pay, the everyday payment app powered by BDO Unibank.
With BDO Pay, users can scan, send, and pay instantlyβwithout the need to cash in. Linked to a BDO Kabayan Savings account, the app allows seamless money transfers, bill payments, and account monitoring anytime, anywhere.
BDO Senior Vice President and Head of Remittance Genie T. Gloria said many Overseas Filipinos describe BDO Pay as βhulog ng langitβ when they discover how easy it is to use.
βThey can access this 24/7 payment app from wherever they are in the world, even late at night, on weekends, or during holidays,β Gloria shared.
Free Money Transfers and Bill Payments
Overseas Filipinos with Kabayan Savings can remit once, then use BDO Pay to send money, pay bills, and check balances at no extra charge. Transfers to other BDO accounts are free, helping users save on fees.
The app also lets users pay over 1,800 billers nationwide without enrollment or convenience feesβcovering utilities, tuition, and other essentials.
βInstead of remitting money for their families to settle bills, they can now pay directly and avoid late penalties,β Gloria added.
More Than Sending Money
Aside from transfers, BDO Pay also features a βRequest Moneyβ option, making it easier for users to collect payments or split expenses. All transactions, including remittances and bill payments, can be monitored in real-time through the app.
Easy to Start, Easy to Use
BDO Pay can be downloaded for free from the App Store, Google Play, or Huawei AppGallery. First-time users can set it up in minutes by logging in with their BDO Online credentials, entering an OTP, enabling biometric login, creating a 6-digit PIN, and linking their Kabayan Savings account.
For additional assistance, users may still call the 24/7 BDO Customer Hotline (+632 8888 0000) or visit any BDO branch.
With BDO Pay, βAlagang Kabayanβ is now truly in your pocketβanytime, anywhere.
