The School Press Advisers Movement, (SPAM) Inc. is set to launch the first ever multifaceted literary folio entitled Verses & Visions this 2024.
Advocating responsible campus journalism in the country, and now immortalizing creative works such as photographs, poetry, short stories and other forms of visual arts will be included in the movement’s maiden issue.
The first release will be themed “Treasures” and is open to the creatives’ literary interpretation.
Literary enthusiasts, professionals, school paper advisers, teachers and faculty of various educational institutions are welcome to join and have their works published.
Also, SPAM, Inc. invites bonafide members who are professionals, teaching, non-teaching personnel and media practitioners to join the editorial board.
Interested creatives may send their works through versesandvisionssecretariat@gmail.com with the subject “SUBMISSION” along with the creative work title.
Entrants must include in the submission their name, school or institution, position or designation, academic rank if applicable and their creative output.
The Creative Work Publishing Charge amounts P1,000.00 per page for the Verses & Visions folio and the contributors will receive two copies of the published folio with a certificate of publication.
Proceeds of the publication will contribute to the funding of various SPAM, Inc. trainings to help members strengthen advocacies on responsible campus journalism.
Interested creatives may submit their work for the maiden issue until March 25, 2024.
