Coffee lovers and aficionados flocked to the High Street South for the second Bonifacio Global City (BGC) Coffee Festival, which happened on March 18 and 19.  The two-day festival featured various coffee brands and stores along with cycling merchants, bands, disc jockeys and musicians.

“In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, I publicly opened Kombi Brew as grab and go, pop-up cafe which became a niche for bikers and coffee enthusiasts,” said Kombi Brew owner Budz Badua.

Badua, who is a participating merchant, also expressed her appreciation for the coffee festival as the event encourages Filipinos to patronize local coffee products from small scale to big brands.

The gourmet craft coffee shop that Badua owns is a transformed 1973 Volkswagen Type 2 which is known for their unique signature Tangerine fruit coffee and Change Oil, a dark chocolate ganache horchata.

After the festival, some pop-up shops will be up every Saturday at the Souk BGC, De Jesus Oval park.
