Due to sub-standard waterpipes connected to some 1,032 households of Jaovil in Barangay Pandan, PrimeWater Angeles will cut off water supply in the area effective TODAY, February 24, 2024 at exactly 6:00 pm.
This, after residents of one household at Jaovil contracted diarrhea, which is traced to undrinkable water.
The sub-standard water pipes, which are unaccounted for by Primewater, may be illegally connected.
In view thereof, the Angeles Local Government headed by Mayor Carmelo βPogiβ Lazatin, Jr. has requested Prime Water to ration water by 4:00 pm today and 7:00 am to 10 am daily thereafter.
Mayor Lazatin requested the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to aide the water rationing today and every 4 pm daily.
Mayor Lazatin will also provide 2,000 bottles of drinking water every two days.
The water rationing will be done until all old and sub-standard waterpipes had been replaced.
