A total of 109 police officers have successfully passed the 2025 Bar Examinations, the results of which were released last week.
Acting Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. hailed the achievement, calling it a proud moment for the organization.
“Passing the Bar is no small feat—it requires years of sacrifice, focus, and determination. That our police officers achieved this while serving the public makes it even more meaningful,” Nartatez said in a statement on Monday.
He noted that the accomplishment reflects the PNP’s continuing efforts toward reform and professionalization, particularly in strengthening its commitment to **due process, human rights, and justice.
“You are not just lawyers now—you are lawyers for the people and servants of the law. Your deeper legal expertise will help the PNP serve with greater integrity and credibility,” Nartatez added.
Of the 11,420 examinees who completed all three days of the 2025 Bar Examinations, 5,594 passed, resulting in a national passing rate of 48.98 percent.
The Bar Examinations are considered among the most challenging professional licensure tests in the country.
