The “Pakyawan Na! 10.10 Live Selling for a Cause,” led by DOTr Assistant Secretary IC Calaguas and Pampanga First District Chief Political Officer Reina Manuel, successfully raised ₱100,600 to support six-year-old brain tumor patient Abraham Mamangun.

The event, streamed live via the Mahal na Reina Facebook page on October 10, 2025, combined ₱57,600 in sales and ₱43,000 in donations from generous supporters. Contributions included ₱20,000, ₱10,000, and ₱3,000 from three anonymous donors, plus a ₱10,000 donation from First District Rep. Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr.

Raffle prizes such as microwave ovens, Audrey Bags, Beautéderm products, and cash prizes added excitement to the charitable event, while IBAC Woodcrafts and designer Frederick Policarpio also donated brand-new items to boost sales.

“We are beyond grateful to everyone who supported this cause. Every sale and donation goes a long way in Abraham’s fight for recovery,” said Manuel.

Calaguas, meanwhile, emphasized that “public service is about compassion and action.” She added, “What we witnessed during this live selling is kindness in motion.”

Congressman Lazatin also extended separate medical assistance to Abraham, strengthening the effort’s impact.

The initiative follows a series of live-selling fundraisers by Calaguas and Manuel benefiting children with hydrocephalus. The duo also actively supports animal welfare and education programs, proving that small acts of kindness can create lasting change.
