6 Angeles City restaurants closed for sanitary violations

Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. has ordered the closure of six (6) Angeles City restaurants for failure to comply with sanitary regulations.

Mayor Lazatin has directed the Business Permit and Licensing Division and City Health Office—Sanitation Division to step up its inspection efforts among restaurants to ensure the safety of diners.

Angeles City is one of the culinary destinations in Pampanga province and more visitors are coming in to sample the food among numerous restaurants in the city.

The inspection team swooped down on the kitchens of restaurants in the city to inspect them for cleanliness.

Mayor Lazatin has warned food establishments to strictly follow sanitation and cleanliness in food handling. The restaurants were also tasked to follow fire safety regulations.
