100 MSMEs to join 5th CARP Central Luzon Trade Fair

A total of 100 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across the region will showcase their products in the upcoming 5th Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program (CARP) Central Luzon Trade Fair on November 17-20, 2022 at Marquee Mall, Angeles City.

With the theme: Likha ng ARBs: Ipagmalaki at Tangkilikin, the fair will feature the best food and non-food products of CARP beneficiaries from the seven provinces of Central Luzon.

Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Bulacan Provincial Director and CARP Regional Manager Edna D. Dizon reported that the Province of Pampanga has the most number of participants with 29 MSMEs. Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, and Zambales have 13 MSMEs each while Bataan and Aurora have 12 and 7 participating MSMEs respectively.

“Our target sales for this year’s CARP Trade Fair is ₱3.24 million or about ₱32,400 per MSME. With the opening of our economy and the easing of pandemic restrictions and protocols, we hope to achieve or even exceed the target amount,” Dizon said.

Participating exhibitors of the trade fair are beneficiaries of the government’s Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program. The MSMEs are recipients of DTI services and programs such as livelihood skills training, provision of Shared Service Facilities, product development assistance, and marketing support through exposure of products in fairs and market matching.

For her part, DTI – 3 Assistant Regional Director Brigida T. Pili invites the public visit and support the trade fair since the of the activity is not only to gain more profit but to promote the region’s finest products.
