Under the leadership of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., the Philippine National Police (PNP), in partnership with the Bayaning Pulis Foundation, Inc. (BPFI), provided educational assistance to 25 dependents of PNP personnel who were killed in police operations (KIPO). The ceremony, held on May 26, 2025, at the Meridian Innovation Center, West Tower Double Dragon in Pasay City, served as a vibrant tribute to the sacrifices of fallen heroes and a reaffirmation of continuing support for their families.

PNP Chief, Police General Rommel Francisco D. Marbil, attended the event and delivered a message of gratitude and honor. “Every day, our police officers face their duties with courage in their hearts and service as their mission,” said PGen Marbil. “Some of them never make it home. Behind each name we remember is a story of heroism—a parent, a sibling, a child whose ultimate sacrifice became a shield for others.”

He also emphasized the PNP’s unwavering commitment to care for the families left behind by their fallen comrades. “Today, we don’t just remember them—we also help realize the dreams they left behind. Through the PNP-Bayaning Pulis Foundation Educational Assistance Program, we aim to honor the memory of our KIPO personnel not only with words but with concrete action,” Marbil added. “This support goes beyond financial aid—it is a symbol of our boundless gratitude and a promise that the PNP will never forget.”

The event was also graced by BPFI Chairperson Ambassador Benedicto V. Yujuico and BPFI President PBGEN Noel A. Baraceros (Ret.), who have been instrumental partners in bringing this program to deserving dependents.

In his message to the scholars, PGen Marbil reminded them that the courage and dedication of their parents live on through them. “You are the light that continues to shine from their sacrifice. May this support inspire you to chase your dreams. May it strengthen your resolve,” he said. “The PNP may lose comrades in battle, but we will never abandon their families.”
The Bayaning Pulis Foundation’s Educational Assistance Program stands as a beacon of hope for families who have lost loved ones in the line of duty. It serves as a reminder that heroism does not end with sacrifice, but continues through the support extended to the families of our fallen heroes.
The PNP remains committed to preserving the legacy of its heroes through the education and success of their dependents.
