A total of 2,601 indigent women across the province received assistance on March 31 through a joint initiative of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), Nanay Partylist, and the Provincial Government of Pampanga.

Governor Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, together with Vice Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, reminded beneficiaries of the importance of the Capitol’s Preventive Healthcare Program to safeguard the health of mothers and women.

The Provincial Health Office also led discussions on common women’s health concerns, including myoma, adenomyosis, and breast cancer, to raise awareness and prevent complications.

Governor Pineda underscored the vital role of women in families and communities, saying, “Importante kayong mga Nanay.”

As part of the assistance, beneficiaries received cash aid from DSWD, food packs from the provincial government, and hygiene kits from Nanay Partylist, which were warmly welcomed and appreciated by the recipients.
