A top locator in Clark has named an avenue after the late Laus Group of Companies (LGC) founder Liberato “Levy” P. Laus (LPL).
Paying homage to his legacy, Berthaphil Inc. named one of the major roads in their Berthaphil Clark Center complex after Laus.
Peter Herman, Chairman and Senior Vice President for Business Development of Berthaphil, Inc., one of the earliest companies to put up business in the Clark Freeport Zone, presented the Levy Laus Avenue sign to Laus’ son, LGC President Paul ‘Concon’ Laus.
Paul Laus thanked Herman and Berthaphil Inc. not only for naming the avenue after the late business mogul, but also for the friendship that has been established between them, since LPL’s time up to the present.
The late Levy P. Laus was a leading advocate for countryside development. He served as president and chief executive officer of the Clark Development Corporation from 2006 to 2008.
In 1978, LPL put up a small automotive dealership—with meager capital and just three cars on display.
Today, Laus Group of Companies is a diversified conglomerate of automotive dealerships and is now considered the largest multi-brand dealership network in the Philippines.
