The journey of the City of San Fernando towards officially becoming a “Digital City” is continuing under Mayor Vilma Caluag’s helm.

Earlier, CSFP was chosen by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in 2020 as one of the “digital cities” of the Philippines for its potential to become an ICT hub catering to businesses and innovation centers.

In a meeting on July 19, 2022 at Heroes Hall, Caluag met with the officers of San Fernando ICT Council to discuss the future of San Fernando as a “digital city,” wherein according to the council, will be one of ICT hubs in the country where IT and Business Process Management will be realized.

The ICT Council is set to have update meetings on the Digital City journey with concerned City Government offices. (CSF CIO)
