Magalang Mayor Malu Lacson recently assigned an ambulance each to four Municipal Extension Service Offices (MESO) to assist in the operation of the MAlasakit at LUgud Health Desks.

These include MESO 1A at the San Isidro Resettlement and Barrio; MESO 1B at the Sta. Lucia Resettlement and Barrio; MESO 2 – San Isidro Resettlement; and, MESO 3 – San Ildefonso.

The Local Government of Magalang entrusted the patient transport services to Barangay Captain Boboy Banal of Barangay San Isidro for the emergency medical needs of Magaleños covered by the satellite offices.

It is Paras’ priority is to ensure that the ambulances at the MESOs immediately respond to the needs of patients and transport them to hospitals fast and free of charge.

Paras aims to provide ambulances to the 27 barangays in Magalang which she hopes to achieve next year.

In August, Magalang received a garbage truck and Foton Service Van from the Provincial Government of Pampanga led by Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda. (LGU Magalang)
