Police Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr., chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) will be the special guest of honor on January 12, 2023, during the induction of the new set of officers of the Camp Olivas PNP Press Corps (COPPC) to be held at Camp Julian Olivas, the regional headquarters of the Police Regional Office 3, in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
“This is an auspicious occasion for the COPPC family, as the induction coincides with the press corp’s 32nd anniversary,” said Franco G. Regala, incoming president of COPPC. “That is why we are honored that PNP Chief PGen. Azurin has agreed to be our guest of honor and keynote speaker for the event. The new set of officers and members of COPPC are delighted that he agreed to grace our induction.”
PGen Azurin will be joined by another VIP guest, Dr. Imad Ammar, consul for Peace and Humanitarian Services with the United Nations. Dr. Ammar is also the IGO Founder- Hunger No More, vice-president of the Foreign National Keepers Network, and vice-president of the MPD Advisory Council, and CIDG National Advisory Council secretary.
The event, which will be held at 10am, at the Police Regional Office 3 Lady’s Clubhouse at Camp Olivas, is a three-in-one activity: induction, anniversary celebration, and Christmas party.
