Fourth District Representative Anna York P. Bondoc has requested the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Pampanga to provide her list of bridge and bypass road projects funded in 4th District to ensure that these projects will be fully completed and operational.

“It is also my obligation as a public servant to improve the welfare of our constituents by upgrading all our public structures. I asked DE Miranda to provide me with the list of bridge and bypass road projects that have been funded but not yet completed, and copies of the program of works to help me source the necessary funds for their completion,” Bondoc said.

During the meeting with 1st District Engineer Almer Miranda and the DEO’s management the possibility of converting existing bypass roads into national roads was also discussed. Miranda agreed to consider if it would meet the requirements under DPWH Department Order No 133, Series of 2018 or the Criteria and Guidelines for Road Conversion from Local to National Roads and Vice Versa.

Bondoc also requested that the following access road projects leading to the Philippine National Railway stations in the 4th district of Pampanga be included in the FY 2024 budget proposal of the DEO: Sulipan to Sampaga Access Road, Colgante to Sampaga Access Road, San Vicente to Sampaga Access Road, Sto. Tomas to Sampaga Access Road, and San Simon to Sampaga Access Road.
