A total of 44 micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from the province of Tarlac joined the Likha ng Central Luzon Hybrid Trade Fair 2021.
From the figure, 21 opted to market their products online while the remaining 23 made their products available at SM City Tarlac.
“This year’s Likha Trade Fair showcases the products of MSMEs in Central Luzon using both virtual and physical platforms. This is also an opportunity for our MSMEs to reach a wide audience amid the pandemic,” Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Provincial Director Agnes Ramirez said.
To support Tarlac MSMEs, she noted that DTI delivered all possible assistance to the participants to ensure quality products and to help them earn more.
Featured local products include pottery, woodcrafts, perfume, alcohol, sanitizers, calamansi juice products, natural pork meat processed food, peanut butter, burong hipon among others.
“Consumers now have the choice whether to purchase online through the Likha ng Central Luzon Facebook Page or to visit our physical trade fair,” she added.
Ramirez emphasized that health protocols are in place at SM City Tarlac to prevent the spread of COVID-19 virus.
This year’s edition is organized by DTI in partnership with PhilExport, Regional Development Council, Central Luzon Growth Corridor Foundation Inc., SM and WalterMart. It will run from October 13 to 17. (PIA 3)
