Angeles City Mayor Carmelo ‘Pogi’ Lazatin, Jr. and Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II led the celebration of the 125th Anniversary of Philippine Independence in Angeles City.

The celebration, whose theme this year is “Kalayaan. Kinabukasan. Kasaysayan” serves as a reminder of the patriotism and nationalism of our brave heroes who fought hardly for our independence.

Also present during the event are Vice Mayor Vicky Vega-Cabigting and the members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, Philippine National Police Region 3 Deputy Regional Director for Administration PBGen. Enrico Vargas, Mayor Lazatin’s Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, Angeles City LGU department heads and officers-in-charge, National Museum of Social History of the Philippines Senior Curator Bettina Arriola, and Kuliat Foundation Inc., led by President Lincoln Baluyut.
