CRK records significant passenger traffic increase in May 2023

A total of 189,183 passengers flew through Clark International Airport (CRK) in May 2023, a massive upturn compared to the same month last year.

The airport welcomed 73,336 domestic passengers and 115,847 international passengers, an increase of 617% and 134% respectively.

Luzon International Premier Airport Development (LIPAD) Corp. President and CEO Noel F. Manankil says “May is a good month for Clark International Airport. We celebrated our first anniversary at the new terminal and we recorded this significant increase.”

LIPAD, the consortium that manages CRK, attributes this 217% passenger increase to the growing demand for air travel and the addition of new routes at the airport.

Compared to April 2023, the airport received 54% more passengers, with April passengers totaling 123,161. Domestic passengers were 35,814 and international passengers were 87,347.
