With the theme GenS: Generation Sustainable, the Department of Trade and Indistry Central Luzon kicked off its consumer welfare month celebration.

During the press briefing, the regional agency disssed updates and reporte on rice retailers’s subsidy payout, various activities for the Consumer Welfare Month and the Likha ng Central Luzon.

Keynote speakers for the kapihan were OIC-RD Brigida Pili, DC Gerardo Manalang, DC Warren Patrick Serrano.

“We aim to stabilize their (rice retailers) businesses and help them in the forthcoming harvest season amid economic challenges,” said Pili.

The event served as a twin celebration since the Department also marks the twenty-fifth anniversary of Likha ng Central Luzon Trade Fair which will take place at SM Megamall on October 25 to 29.
