Governor Dennis ‘Delta’ Pineda opened today Delta Cup 2023, the inter-town /city basketball league of Pampanga’s 21 towns/cities including Angeles City.
Governor Delta stressed to the participants that there shall be no violence during the tournament, and that sportsmanship, hard work and discipline shall be promoted.
The Provincial Government allotted P100,000 for each participating team and also provided all the uniforms.
Up for grabs are the following prizes:
- 4th Place – P100,000.00
- 3rd Place – P150,000.00
- 2nd Place – P200,000.00
- 1st Place – P300,000.00
The Commissioner of Delta Cup is Sinag Liga Asya’s Leo Isaac, who said that “Pampanga is the basketball capital of the Pilipinas.”
Delta Cup 2023 will be streamed LIVE on the official page of Pampanga PIO.
