The Angeles City government, led by Mayor Carmelo Pogi Lazatin, Jr., has given out lot numbers to some 282 families from Barangay Margot on July 10, 2024.
The distribution is in line with the city government’s efforts at providing decent housing and land to urban poor families.
Mayor Lazatin, who personally turned over the lot numbers to the family-beneficiaries, said that he, together with the City Councilor and Angeles City Human Settlement and Urban Development Officer (ACHSUDO) Atty. Arvin Suller, are inclusively working to continue providing programs that will help the residents of Angeles City, especially those who have lost their homes.
The 282 family-beneficiaries who were displaced in Barangay Margot will be relocated in Barangay Sapangbato.
According to ACSHUDO Deputy Roque Nava, the family-beneficiaries already received their certificates of lot awards last April 2022.
“Alam naman po natin na ang liderato po ni Mayor Lazatin ay lumilingap sa kapakanan ng mga kababayan nating nangangailangan ng sariling tahanan,” Nava added.
Also present during the awarding of certificates are members of the Barangay Margot Council, headed by Dominador Lising Jr.
