Kapampangan royalty was showcased in the grand welcome dinner tendered for the participants of MICECON 2024 at Clark International Airport.

At Departure Gate 3, San Antonio Band 33 serenaded the attendants who were making their way to the venue with music that easily spelled “welcome.”

The best of Kapampangan cuisine, as prepared by five (5) of Pampanga’s best chefs – Sau del Rosario, Howard Dizon, Vince Garcia, Bong Sagmit and Cherry Pasion-Tan – was served. A few international entrees, given a dash of Kapampangan magic, were also served.

Central Luzon-based industries and products took centerstage in the strategically-placed booths around the venue. There was kulitan script, borlas cutting, aeta beadings, pottery and more.

Pampanga’s pride ArtiSta. Rita performed original Kapampangan songs. And true-blue Kapampangan beauty queen and tv host Emma Tiglao was the master of ceremonies.

The best Kapampangan welcome was indeed accorded to the MICECON 2024 participants!
