The Converge FiberXers would like to wish Coach Aldin Ayo and 1st Assistant Coach McJour Luib all the best in their next journey as they bid farewell to the team ahead of the opening of the 49th Season of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).

“It was a mutually agreed decision for both parties to part ways. We are thankful for their dedicated service to the team for almost two years,” said Converge FiberXers Team Manager Jacob Lao.

Under their leadership, the FiberXers were able to enter the quarterfinals of the Commissioner’s Cup and the Governors’ Cup of PBA Season 47.

In the meantime, FiberXers Assistant Coach Franco Atienza will be the Acting Head Coach of the team as the Converge FiberXers gear up for the upcoming PBA season.

Atienza is an experienced coach with 18 years of experience, serving as Head Coach for high school and collegiate basketball before being recruited into the PBA by the Alaska Aces in 2011 as Assistant Coach. He moved to the Converge FiberXers when it took over the Aces franchise.
