Minerva Vino, a 56-year-old Mabalaquenian from Brgy. Buenavista, happily thanked Pampanga Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda for the โ€˜blessingโ€™ he personally brought to their barangay.

“Dakal pung dakal a salamat a ikami pung pintalan na keni keng baryu,” said Vino, who also praised the Kapitolyo sa Barangay program for its goal of helping the indigent citizens.

Vino added, “Potang atin masakit, makapanyad kaming saup. Balu ming atin keng alapitan.”

Vino is among the 612 who attended the forum during the Kapitolyo sa Barangay event at the Buenavista Covered Court earlier today, 08 August.

During the program, Governor Delta learned the needs of the barangays from the officials. One of the things brought to the governorโ€™s attention is the need for a daycare center at Brgy. Buenavista. This was immediately approved by Gov. Delta.

With the help of Board Members Jun Canlas and Lucky Labung, Mexico ABC Pres. Terence Napao, PDRRMO Chief Angelina Blanco, and Acting PSWDO Fe Manarang, Gov. Delta also distributed rice and cash assistance to the attendees.
