The traffic lights at Baranguay Cuayan will be operational tonight, according to City Engineers’ Officer-In-Charge Helen Ayro. This comes after Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. instructed the City Engineer’s Office on October 21, 2024, to expedite repairs of faulty traffic lights, including those at the Fil-Am Friendship Road and Poinsettia Avenue intersection in Barangay Pampang.
The move follows the recent turnover of traffic light management from the Department of Public Works and Highways to the city government. Mayor Lazatin also ordered a citywide inspection of all traffic lights to improve traffic flow.
