Angeles City vaxx team to get ₱5-K cash incentive

Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. on Dec. 8, 2021 announced that all members of the Angeles City vaccination team will receive ₱5,000 extra cash incentive.

Mayor Lazatin said this is a token of gratitude for the employees who are working non-stop to ensure the inoculation of Angeleños.

“Mula po nang magsimula ang siyudad sa pagbabakuna, sila na po ang ating naging katuwang. Walang oras at araw pong pinipili ang kanilang pagseserbisyo,” Lazatin shared.

“Maraming maraming salamat po,” he said.

Lazatin is also congratulating the 400 members of the vaccination staff in reaching herd immunity, inoculating 70% of the target population.

Department of the Interior and Local Government Secretary Eduardo Año said on Tuesday, Dec. 7 via President Rodrigo Duterte’s Talk to the People that Angeles City is one of the 23 Highly Urbanized Cities in the country to achieve herd immunity.

Lazatin cited the efforts of his friend and chief adviser IC Calaguas for sharing her time and initiative to the city’s vaccination efforts.

Among the working staff of the vaccination team are Calaguas, chief implementer of the city’s vaccination program, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center led by Dr. Froilan Canlas; City Health Office led by Dr. Verona Guevarra, CHO Nurse Supervisor Evelinda Mariano, Gender and Development Office headed by Mina Cabiles, Angeles City Economic Development Investment and Promotions Officer-in-Charge Irish Bonus-Llego and staff; Business Permit and Licensing Division led by Evangeline Malonzo, Barangay Outreach Program and Angeles City Tourism Auxiliary led by Michael Lising, Mayor’s Office Records Section Head Jermaine Jam Aguila, Angeles City Traffic Development Office headed by Francis Pangilinan, City Nutrition Office led by Donatila Guanzon, Angeles City Tourism Officer-in-Charge Anneleen Antonio-Sugui and staff, Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office led by Rodolfo Simeon, City Social Welfare and Development Officer Edna Duaso and staff, Quality Management System led by Chrysalene Cunanan, Blood Bank headed by Jennifer Balatbat, City Environment and Natural Resources Office led by Archimedes Lazatin, Public Employment Service Office led by Maridor Basilio, and City College of Angeles.
