Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda issued a public warning on Monday following the recent raid of an illegal vitamin manufacturing facility in Arayat. Authorities discovered that the facility, operating for nearly 20 years, was producing unregistered vitamin C syrup under unsanitary conditions, including mixing ingredients in a washing machine.

Governor Pineda urged parents to remain vigilant, advising them to purchase only FDA-approved vitamins to ensure children’s safety.

“Mag-ingat po tayo sa mga produktong hindi aprobado ng FDA. Huwag basta-basta bili nang bili. Basahin po natin kung FDA-approved,” Governor Pineda said.

He also called on barangay officials to monitor for similar illegal operations in their areas, warning of the risks these facilities pose to public health.

The operation led to the seizure of approximately ₱400,000 worth of unregistered products, and the factory owner is now facing charges.
