The Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) has joined forces with the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) and the Department of Agriculture (DA) Regional Field Office III to establish the Ayta Ethnos Botanical Center in New Clark City, Capas, Tarlac.

The project is bolstered by a Php 4.8 million training fund from the DA, underscoring a shared commitment to empowering the Aeta community while preserving their rich agricultural heritage for future generations.

Representing the collaboration are PSAU’s Vice President for Planning and Resource Generation, Dr. Lyndon G. Solis, and BCDA President, Eng. Joshua M. Bingcang. Together, they aim to create a sustainable hub that celebrates indigenous farming practices while advancing opportunities for development within the region.

Spanning 10 hectares, this facility aims to serve as a center for promoting and enhancing indigenous agricultural practices.
