CSF gov’t offices get safety seals

Several City of San Fernando offices and establishments are now “safety seal” certified.

This, after the City General Services Office, City Engineer’s Office, Motor pool, and Storage Facility passed the Safety Seal inspection conducted by the Department of Interior and Local Government on December 21, 2021.

“I commend the City General Services Office and all other offices here kasi napakalinis at organized nila. This is not what we expected dahil nga malapit sila dito sa bagong palengke pero malinis at in place talaga yung infection control policy nila,” said Marites Quillope, City Local Government Operations Officer.

Meanwhile, Engineer Michael Quizon Jr., CGSO Officer, encouraged all other local government-owned facilities and buildings to get safety seal certifications “to ensure safe and efficient public transactions.”

The safety seal certification is a voluntary certification scheme that affirms that an establishment is compliant with the minimum public health standards set by the government integrated with the contact tracing app Staysafe.Ph.

On October 21, 2021, both the City Hall and Heroes Hall buildings received safety seals from the same implementing agency.
