BCDA Chairperson Hilario B. Paredes and President and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang recently participated in the 15th Japan–Philippines High-Level Joint Committee Meeting on Infrastructure Development and Economic Cooperation, where they emphasized New Clark City’s strategic role in the Philippines’ goal of achieving upper-middle-income status.
During the meeting, Engr. Bingcang underscored New Clark City’s readiness to attract more Japanese investments, highlighting its ongoing development. He also discussed the city’s notable partnership with Science Park of the Philippines, Inc., which will establish a 100-hectare industrial park aimed at attracting high-value investments, particularly from Japanese companies.
These efforts align with the BCDA’s commitment to the Marcos administration’s #BuildBetterMore agenda, which aims to drive infrastructure development and enhance economic opportunities in the country.
