The Holy See has released a statement from the College of Cardinals, inviting the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) and the Filipino faithful to join in prayerful communion during a period of significant importance in the life of the Church.

As the College of Cardinals gathers in Rome for the General Congregations in preparation for the upcoming Conclave, the prelates called on the People of God to treat this ecclesial moment as one of grace and spiritual discernment.

Fully aware of the weight of their responsibility, the Cardinals emphasized the need for spiritual support through the prayers of the faithful, which they described as the true force uniting all members of the Body of Christ (cf. 1 Cor 12:12).
