Representatives from the Angeles City Government held a transition meeting to discuss the turnover of city operations ahead of the assumption of Mayor-Elect Carmelo “Jon” Lazatin II.

The meeting was led by Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, who represented outgoing Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. She met with Janie Sarmiento, chief of staff of Mayor-Elect Lazatin II, to coordinate the transition process.

Also present were key department heads, including City Accountant Lilibeth Enriquez, City Treasurer Arneil Escolango, City Budget Officer Jane Nacpil, General Services Officer Evangeline Malonzo, City Engineer’s Office Officer-in-Charge Helen Ayro, City Human Resources and Management Officer Rowena Yambao, and Malvin Santos, representing the City Planning and Development Office.

The transition team discussed operational matters to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities to the incoming administration.
