Authorities confiscated an estimated ₱8,027,400 worth of suspected shabu and arrested four high-value individuals (HVIs) in two separate buy-bust operations conducted by the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO-3) in Dinalupihan, Bataan and Angeles City, Pampanga.
In Dinalupihan, operatives of the local municipal police station arrested a suspect known as alias “Mel Mel” during a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Benito on Tuesday, June 10. The suspect was caught selling a medium-sized sachet of suspected shabu to a poseur buyer.
Recovered from the operation were a total of 180.5 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of ₱1,227,400.
Meanwhile, in Angeles City, another drug sting carried out on Wednesday, June 11, led to the arrest of alias “Jamil” and two companions identified only as alias “Roel” and “Arnold,” all residents of Sitio Saudi, Barangay Malabanias.
Confiscated from the suspects were two plastic bags and one large ziplock bag containing approximately 1,000 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated value of ₱6.8 million based on the Standard Drug Price.
The arrested individuals are currently in police custody and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
