Ronnel T. Golimlim, RSW, Chapter President of the Philippine Association of Social Workers Inc. (PASWI) Pampanga, has been recognized as one of the 2025 Outstanding Social Workers by the ASEAN Social Work Consortium–Philippines (ASWC-PH).

The prestigious award honors Golimlim’s unwavering dedication to social work, his transformative leadership, and his compassionate service that continues to uplift communities across the country and the ASEAN region.

Widely admired by peers and colleagues, Golimlim—fondly known in the community as “Coach Ron”—has long been an advocate for inclusive and value-driven social work. His commitment to serving with heart, integrity, and vision has made a lasting impact in both grassroots and institutional settings.

PASWI Pampanga Chapter lauded Golimlim’s achievement, saying it brings immense pride not only to the chapter but to the entire Filipino social work community.

The recognition stands as a testament to Golimlim’s belief that social work is not merely a profession, but a calling to lead with purpose and make meaningful change in the lives of others.
