If you think you’ve had your fill of Kapampangan classics, think again — Arbee’s Bar & Resto just opened in Clark Freeport Zone, and it’s bringing something extra to the table!
Earlier today, members of the Pampanga Press Club, led by our ever-game President Noel G. Tulabut, got a first taste of what this new spot has to offer. Spoiler alert: our taste buds were very pleased.

The moment you step in, you’ll notice the modern European design: clean lines, warm wood accents, and a cozy, polished ambiance that feels like a little city escape. But don’t let the sleek look fool you—this is still a place where Kapampangan roots shine, just with an extra ‘umph.’

The opening act was the Bulaklak Skewers, which absolutely deserve a standing ovation. Imagine your classic chicharon bulaklak—but grilled, not fried—and served on a skewer with sweet-spicy cucumber tamarind vinegar on the side. I’d call it a glow-up, and yes, it’s worth the hype.

This was followed by Arbee’s Tokwa’t Baboy — a staple turned superstar, savory and crisp in all the right ways.
Now here’s a dish that surprised us all: the Pacu and Pakwan Salad. Think: fresh pacu (fern) leaves, watermelon cubes, cherry tomatoes, onion slivers, and crushed cashew on a bed of crisp white lettuce, dressed with tamarind and sesame oil. It’s zesty, refreshing, and totally unexpected.
Of course, Arbee’s didn’t stop there. There was Aligue Pasta, rich with taba ng talangka blended into a creamy sauce (comfort food level 100), Vegetable Al Ajillo for a garlicky green fix, and Crispy Pata a la Bagnet that practically shattered at first bite. The Creamy Mushroom Chicken? Tender, flavorful, and so soft it nearly didn’t need chewing.
And just when we thought we couldn’t possibly eat another bite—boom! Peach Mango Crumble Ice Cream landed in front of us like the sweet encore to an already unforgettable concert.
Speaking of concerts — did I mention Arbee’s has a cute little stage? Perfect for live performers who want to vibe, jam, and maybe even find their next duet partner. That cozy, welcoming energy spills over into every part of the restaurant—from the décor to the staff, who made sure we were taken care of like VIPs from start to finish.
Open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Arbee’s Bar & Resto isn’t just another restaurant—it’s where familiar flavors are given flair, and where stories (and skewers) are shared.
And while the food was unforgettable, it was made even better by the laughs, conversations, and warm hospitality that came with it.
But beyond the dishes and the décor, what made today extra special was the easy laughter, the great company, and the way we were genuinely taken care of from start to finish.
On a gloomy – which later turned rainy – Tuesday morning, we trooped to Arbee’s for the food and to get a feel of the overall vibe. We left with full bellies, fuller hearts, and satisfied souls—proof that good food, warm company, and thoughtful service always make the best recipe.
