PRO3 Chief conducts surprise inspection in CL Police Stations

Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) Regional Director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. conducted unannounced weekend inspections across various police stations in Central Luzon, including the PRO3 headquarters in Camp Olivas, as part of his commitment to effective leadership and public service.

The surprise visits aimed to assess the cleanliness of facilities, operational readiness, and overall welfare of personnel — core principles in support of PNP Chief PGEN Nicolas D. Torre III’s three leadership pillars:

  1. Swift and Responsive Public Service
  2. Unity and Welfare Within the Ranks
  3. Accountability and Modernization

PBGEN Peñones personally inspected public assistance desks, detention cells, workstations, and living quarters to ensure high standards of professionalism and discipline.

“A clean and orderly workplace reflects the discipline of our personnel. When we take care of our people, we earn the public’s trust and elevate our service,” he stated.

Aside from compliance checks, the visits also served as opportunities for PBGEN Peñones to connect with officers on duty, listen to their concerns, and commend those working over the weekend.

He emphasized that these field visits will continue in the coming weeks to reinforce discipline, improve services, and boost morale across the region.

“Leadership must be felt in action—not just in memos or reports. Our support is shown through presence, engagement, and real-time supervision,” he added.
