Seven suspects, including four tagged as High-Value Individuals (HVIs), were arrested and over ₱2.4 million worth of illegal drugs seized during separate police operations across Bataan and Pampanga on August 3.

In Limay, Bataan, a buy-bust in Barangay Reformista led to the arrest of two suspects, including alias “Rico,” a newly listed HVI. Authorities confiscated 65.5 grams of suspected shabu worth ₱445,400.

Later in Barangay Calero, Orani, three individuals—one of them also an HVI—were caught in the act of a pot session. Around 88 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱598,400 and various drug paraphernalia were recovered.

Meanwhile, in Mabalacat City, Pampanga, a buy-bust operation led to the arrest of two HVIs, alias “Chika” and “Niks.” Police seized 5.5 kilograms of dried marijuana worth ₱660,000 and 470 grams of suspected kush valued at ₱705,000.

Police Regional Office 3 Director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. lauded the successful weekend raids.

“These intelligence-driven operations show our commitment to protecting communities from the scourge of illegal drugs. Even on weekends, our personnel remain relentless,” he said.

Authorities urge the public to remain vigilant and report drug-related activities to help sustain the campaign.
