NUSTAR Resort & Casino Cebu is setting the pace for wellness in the Queen City of the South with “Rhythms of Wellness,” a month-long campaign this September 2025 celebrating fitness, mindfulness, and community.
With a mission to become a premier destination for wellness and sports tourism in Cebu, NUSTAR will offer a diverse lineup of activities that embrace different forms of well-being—whether through movement, stillness, or strength.


“Some days call for energy and stride, others for reflection or resilience,” said Sean Knights, Chief Operating Officer of NUSTAR Resort & Casino Cebu. “We’re curating a wellness journey that meets people where they are, and helps them move forward.”

Rhythm of Stride: NUSTAR Run Club
Launching on September 7, the NUSTAR Run Club opens the celebration with scenic coastal runs around the resort. The event promises more than just cardio—runners can connect over coffee and cool down at the Lighthouse’s music-infused day club vibe.

Rhythm of Stillness: Serenity in Motion with Dawata Wellness
From September 12–14, NUSTAR partners with Dawata Wellness, a renowned community for holistic healing, to host Serenity in Motion—a three-day retreat featuring sunrise yoga, tea rituals, meditation circles, sound baths, ocean breathwork, and ice bath therapy.

Rhythm of Strength: NUSTAR Dragon Boat Regatta 2025
Capping off the month is the Dragon Boat Regatta on September 20–21, in partnership with PADS Foundation. Held along the NUSTAR Boardwalk, the event will feature teams paddling a 200-meter course to celebrate teamwork and sportsmanship.
Registration Fee: ₱2,500 per paddler
The regatta supports inclusive sports and boosts Cebu’s growing sports tourism sector.
