Filipino athlete Raymund Torio of Pangasinan made history as the overall menโs champion of the first-ever Titan 77.7 Long Distance Duathlon Malaysia, finishing the brutal 125-kilometer course in 4:28:18.

The endurance test, consisting of a 4km run, 100km bike, and 21km run, drew elite multisport athletes from across Southeast Asia. Torioโs victory underscored the Philippinesโ rising dominance in the regional duathlon scene, while Singaporeโs Evangeline Tan topped the womenโs division with a time of 5:20:24.
The landmark race was staged by GoRacePH, a Filipino multisport innovator, in partnership with Malaysiaโs XS Elite Performance, Tourism Malaysia, and the Kuala Langat local government. Titan 77.7, first launched in Clark Freeport, Pampanga, has gained a reputation as Asiaโs toughest duathlon.
Bringing a 100% Filipino brand abroad and seeing it succeed is a huge milestone,โ said Jumbo Tayag, Race Director of GoRacePH. โTitan 77.7 embodies Filipino heart and grit, and Malaysiaโs success shows its global appeal.โ
The event also featured the Titan Jr. Sprint for beginners, reflecting GoRacePHโs drive to grow the sport regionally. With its successful debut in Malaysia, Titan 77.7 is set to return stronger, further cementing Filipino excellence in endurance racing.
