Senator Bam Aquino has joined forces with Mabalacat City Mayor Gerald “Geld” Aquino to address the urgent need for improved educational infrastructure in the city.

During a visit on Friday, September 5, 2025, the senator personally inspected Lakandula Elementary School and Dr. Adelaido C. Bernardo High School, focusing on classrooms and facilities requiring immediate repair.

Sen. Aquino also proposed reallocating funds from the Department of Public Works and Highways’ flood control projects toward classroom construction and rehabilitation nationwide, emphasizing that strengthening the country’s education system must take priority.

The senator and mayor likewise explored potential sponsorships and partnerships aimed at creating safer and more conducive learning environments as part of a broader national initiative supporting local governments.

Mayor Aquino thanked the senator for his commitment to the welfare of Mabalacat residents, particularly the city’s students.
