₱4.8-M school facility rehab completed in Bataan

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the ₱4.8-million rehabilitation of the multipurpose covered court at Pablo Roman National High School in Pilar, Bataan.

Located in Barangay Panilao, the 624.58-square-meter facility has long been a venue for school events, sports, and community activities. The project restored its structural integrity and introduced upgrades such as a new court slab, wall cladding, cross bracing, solar panels, and repainting.

DPWH Bataan 2nd District Engineer Roland Rainier Victorino said the rehabilitation was designed to serve both educational and social needs. “The facility will benefit not only the school but also nearby communities. This reflects our commitment to providing safer, more resilient spaces that support learning and community engagement,” he said.

Funded under the 2025 national budget, the project is part of the government’s continuing efforts to strengthen social infrastructure, foster inclusive growth, and build resilient communities.
