PRO3 seizes ₱10.6M in illegal drugs, arrests 236 suspects in weeklong operations

Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) arrested 236 individuals and seized more than ₱10.6 million worth of illegal drugs in a series of anti-criminality operations conducted from November 9 to 16, 2025.

Across 158 operations, police units apprehended 114 wanted persons, including 36 listed as Most Wanted at various levels.

Authorities confiscated a total of 1,561.92 grams of shabu valued at ₱10,621,065.53 and 176.19 grams of dried marijuana leaves worth ₱21,143.68, bringing the total drug haul to ₱10,642,209.21.

Police also recovered 44 loose firearms—39 confiscated or surrendered, and five placed under safekeeping. Twenty-eight suspects were arrested for violations of Republic Act 10591, the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition.

PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. commended operating units for their sustained efforts, noting that the accomplishments reflect the region’s alignment with the PNP Focused Agenda of Acting Chief, PNP PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., and PRO3’s 3Ps Strategic Direction: Protect the People, Pursue Peace and Order, and Promote Professionalism.

“These accomplishments demonstrate the collective effort of Team PRO3 to uphold the law and ensure the safety of our communities. We remain steadfast in our commitment to perform our duties with integrity, transparency, and professionalism,” Peñones said.

PRO3 continues to intensify its operations against all forms of criminality to maintain peace and security across Central Luzon.
