Porac Mayor Jaime “Jing” Capil’s legal counsel, Atty. Sos Sian, said on Sunday that the mayor has yet to issue an official statement regarding the reported arrest warrant allegedly released by the Regional Trial Court (RTC) of Pasig City.
According to Sian, neither Mayor Capil nor his legal team has received any notice or copy of the Information related to the supposed warrant. “The Mayor or the Legal Team has yet to validate the alleged warrant issued by the RTC of Pasig because no notice or copy of the Information have been furnished to Mayor Capil as of this time,” he said.
Sian assured the public that Mayor Capil remains ready to comply with all legal requirements. “Be assured that Mayor Jing Capil will submit himself to abide by the requirements of the law as long as due process is duly accorded to him,” the lawyer added.
